BUILD YOUR MENU PAGE

Build your own menu page

Send one photo of your menu and you get a page with all of this on it at once. Your sign can open it, or it works on its own:

  • Your menu or price list as a photo they can zoom, swapped the same day you send a new one
  • Call and Text, with the first message already written
  • Directions, Save as Contact and Leave a review
  • Your Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and website, all at once
  • A note at the top for this week that expires itself after seven days
  • An email every Monday with how many people scanned it

$9.99 a month. Cancel any time, it is a link and not a contract.

Upload your menu

Build it and look at it before you pay. You upload the photo, the page gets built while you watch, and you only pay when you want the link.
Already have a sign? It just starts opening the page instead, and costs nothing extra. No sign yet? Add one at checkout for $14.99, half price.

What it can open

Pick one. Change it whenever you like, from your phone, in about ten seconds, as many times as you want. It never costs anything.

Your Google reviews, straight to the box where they write one, with the stars ready to tap. You do not need to know your listing, the setup screen finds it by name.
Any link you can paste. Your menu, your booking page, your Linktree, your shop, your Instagram.
A text to you, already written. They add their order and press send.
A way to pay you. Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Square or Stripe. Up to four, because getting paid is one job done four ways.
Your contact card, so you are in their phone under your own name with your number and website attached.
A photo. Your menu, your price list, your hours. Send a new one whenever it changes.

What would yours say?

Type what you do. Every page is the same page, so only a few words actually change between a barber and a taco truck. These are them.

Every page also gets Save as Contact, Leave a review, Directions, and your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and website.

    Questions

    The sign itself7
    What actually is it?

A piece of black acrylic about the size of a phone, with a code cut into white vinyl on the front and a chip behind it. It sticks to a counter or a window. Somebody holds their phone near it, or points their camera at the code, and it opens whatever you pointed it at.

    Do people need an app?

No. Scanning uses the camera app that is already on every phone made in the last ten years. Tapping uses the same chip that contactless cards use. There is nothing for them to download and nothing for them to sign up to.

    Does tapping work on iPhone?

Yes, on newer iPhones, and it is two actions rather than one: hold the phone near the sign, then tap the notification that appears at the top of the screen. Older phones do not tap at all.

That is why the code is on the front as well. Every phone can scan it, and scanning is the one that always works. Anybody who says their sign is a single tap on every phone is selling you something.

What if their camera will not read it?

Give the code a wipe and make sure the phone is eight to twelve inches away and roughly square to it. Codes fail to scan for three reasons: grease, glare, and being at an angle. If it still will not read, send us a photo of the sign and we will replace it.

Will it survive a food truck?

It is acrylic and cut vinyl, not printed paper, so there is no ink to fade. It is made to live on a counter or on the inside of a window. It is not built to be bolted to the outside of a trailer and pressure washed.

    How does it stick?

There is an adhesive pad already on the back. Peel the backing off, press hard for about ten seconds, and give the spot a wipe first. It holds best on something clean, dry and flat.

    Can I move it later?

Once it is stuck down properly it is meant to stay. If you need it somewhere else, a fresh adhesive pad from a hardware shop costs very little, or get a second sign and put one in each place.

Setting it up and changing it11
How do I set it up?

Point your own camera at the code on the front. That opens a page asking what you want it to open. Pick one, save, done. There is no app, no account and no password anywhere in it.

    How long does it take?

About thirty seconds for a link or a phone number. The Google reviews option takes a little longer because it searches for your business by name and you pick the right one from a list.

Can I change what it opens?

As many times as you like, for ever, at no cost. It takes about ten seconds from your phone. The sign itself never changes, so there is nothing to reprint and nothing to re-stick.

Why can it only open one thing?

Because that is what makes it a thirty dollar object rather than a subscription. One sign, one destination. The moment you want it to open several things at once, that is the monthly page, and the same sign starts opening that instead.

Getting paid is the one exception: you can put up to four payment apps behind it, because that is one job done four ways.

What happens when somebody taps a reviews sign?

It opens Google's own review box for your business, with the stars ready to tap. Nothing of ours sits in between, and nothing is asked of them first.

They will need to be signed in to a Google account, because Google requires that of anybody leaving a review. Most people on a phone already are.

Do I have to know my Google listing?

No. Type the name of your business and the setup screen finds it, the same way Google Maps does. Pick yours off the list and it fills in the rest.

If you ever have the link already, paste it. Either works.

Somebody set my sign up for me. How do I change it?

Ask them for your change link. On their phone it is under My signs, then Hand it over, which shows a code you point your own camera at. From that moment the sign is listed on your phone and they do not need to be involved again.

    I lost my change link.

If you set the sign up on your own phone, open My signs and it is there. If somebody else set it up, ask them to hand it over as above. Failing both, get in touch with the four characters printed on the front and we will sort it out.

    Can I name my signs?

Yes. On My signs, tap Rename on any of them. Useful once you have more than one: front counter, window, second truck.

Can I take a sign off my phone?

Unlink it, on My signs, does two things at once: the sign stops opening anything, and it comes off that phone. It asks you first.

There is no way to hide a sign from your list while leaving it working, and that is on purpose. A sign that is set up sends people straight on the moment it is scanned, so there would be no screen left to get back into it from. It would be a live sign on a counter that nobody could change.

What happens if I unlink it?

It goes back to being a blank sign and stops opening anything. Your change link still works, so you can set it up again whenever you like. Scan it again any time to set it up fresh. You keep the sign either way.

Passing it to somebody else? Do not unlink it. Use Hand it over, which shows them a code to scan. The sign keeps working and it moves to their phone.

    What it costs7
    How much is it?

A sign is $29.99, then $10 for each one after that. One payment. Posting is already in the price and there is nothing after it.

    Is there a subscription?

Not on the sign. You buy it, you own it, and changing what it opens is free for ever. The monthly page is a separate thing you can add later if you want it, and you never have to.

What do you charge for changes?

Nothing, ever, however many times. A sign whose destination costs money to change is a sign you stop using.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not at the moment. Checkout only accepts United States addresses.

How long does it take to arrive?

They are made one at a time in Buckeye, Arizona and posted within two working days. After that it is with the postal service, and you get a tracking number when it goes out.

What if it turns up broken?

Send a photo and we will make you another one. You do not have to post the broken one back.

    Can I get a refund?

If the sign does not work, yes. If you have stuck it to a counter and changed your mind, get in touch and we will be reasonable about it. Our terms are the formal version.

    The monthly page7
    What is the $9.99 page?

The same sign, opening everything at once instead of one thing: your menu as a photo people can zoom, with Call, Text, Directions, Save as Contact and Leave a review underneath it, plus your Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and website.

There is also a note at the top for whatever is true this week, which fades out on its own after seven days, and an email every Monday telling you how many people scanned it.

I already have a sign. Do I need to buy another one?

No. It starts opening your page instead of whatever it opens now, and it costs nothing extra. That is the whole point of the link never changing.

I do not have a sign yet.

You can add one at checkout for $14.99, half of the $29.99 it costs on its own. It is a tick box, not a second decision.

How do I change my menu?

Send the new photo to the address printed on your own edit page and it is swapped the same day. Same link, same sign, nothing to reprint. You can also open your edit link and drop a new photo in yourself.

Does my menu have to be tidy?

No. A flyer, a photo of your board, a screenshot from your Instagram. Shoot it straight on rather than at an angle and it will be readable. It stays a photograph, so it looks exactly like your menu looks.

    Can I cancel?

Any time, yourself, in one click. No email to anybody and no notice period. Your page stays live through the date you have already paid to.

What happens to my sign if I cancel?

You keep it and it keeps working. Point it at a link, your reviews, or anything else, the same as any other sign. You bought the object.

    Straight answers5
    What will it not do?

It does not take orders and it does not take payments for you, it sends people to your phone or to your own payment app. You cannot search the menu or filter it by allergen, because it is a photograph. It will not get you found: it is the page people land on, not marketing.

    Who is behind it?

One person in Buckeye, Arizona, who also cuts vinyl for a living. The signs are made by hand, a few at a time. That is why same-day menu changes are a real promise and why a call centre is not.

    Is my information safe?

There is no account and no password, so there is nothing to breach. Your change link is the key, and it lives on your phone. Photos you upload have their location data stripped before they leave your phone. The privacy page is the full version.

    Do you track my customers?

We count scans, taps and button presses so you can see whether the thing is working. No names, no contact details, nothing that identifies anybody, and nothing sold to anyone.

Can I buy a lot of them?

The first one is $29.99 and every one after it is $10, so three are $49.99. If you want ten or more to resell, there is trade pricing by application, which is where the margin is.
